I never really could find any interest in Final Fantasy, until I recently got a ps3. I got Final Fantasy XIII/13 and I’m loving it. I don’t think I’ll get 14 though, I hear it’s shit.

OK, FF12 does not belong on this list: that’s the consensus. FF8 and 9 are top 5. And I love FF7, but it is not #1 – i think that honor should belong to like FF4 or FF6. Plus FF13 is cool and all, but should belong at #9 or 10. Thumbs up if you agree

@cliffallica yeah that one (as well as FF10 are only ones I’ve played) FF4 was a beast because it started on the NES I believe then to game Boy Advance and then remade onto the DS

@jaureguii haha its odd how people have such different opinions, my personal fave will always be 8 but lets not lie, all the ff series are incredible games. i take back saying ff9 was terrible, it just disappointed me personally.

mate ff8 killed it in my opinion, definitely should have been 1,2 or 3, and hes right about ff13, its the most beautiful game ever released in my opinion. oh and ff9 is terrible!! i hated it, that game disappointed me hugely

Hey, I’m searching for this game, that has the same gameplay as final fantasy, but you start of as a dragon like thing in a crystal, then some miners destroy it, you kill everyone, some big fat dude comes and knocks you out cold, and you pop up as a baby in some forest and this wolf/lion dude saves you from some wolves, anyone knows what game that is? Plz respond.

Haha, love it when he says “get ready to hate me”. FF fans are insane if someone likes something in different variants to themselves. I just like the recognition of XIII. FFX is my favorite, but I won’t be whining just because you’ve got a different opinion.

In every poll of greatest villains of FF it always ends up as Sephiroth vs Kefka and the two have a fairly even win/loss rate against each other. Just like how VI and VII are always fighting for best FF game and they always seem to have a fairly even win/loss it just depends on which one you like, for me I liked VII because it added the thought of death without revival to the series

@justinleftwinger Maybe vastly superior was a bit of a stretch, but I’ll stand by VI as the superior game. I have played both, and while VII did boast superor graphics and all that, that’s not what Final Fantasy should be about. If you look at it from a strict story/gameplay/characters/all around fun, I think VI is best with VII in a close second. You should play it sometime. You won’t be disappointed.

@lemedinawii that is not what i totally saying… in my opinion is ff XIII not a real RPG because the game is so damn linear.. most of the RPG i know (like the elder scrolls, dragon age etc.) are not that linear as XIII… and did i said chrono trigger is not an RPG, no… i never talked about that game… but most of the Final Fantasy games are linear but the battle system of the others were so much better and the stories two… and not at al most of them had more mini games etc.
